The historic core of the poderi boscarelli vineyards, in cervognano, are planted on calcareous soils, of alluvial origin, sandy with a good percentage of silt and clay, minerals and rich in stony skeleton that varies according to the location. produced with selected grapes in vineyards of at least 20 years of age that give greater complexity and excellent aging potential. the vines that contribute to the composition of the vino nobile riserva are 88% sangiovese prugnolo gentile and colorino. aging the riserva ages in slavonian or french oak of variable capacity from 5 to 25 hl, where it carries out malolactic fermentation. maturation lasts from 28 to 32 months. before being marketed, the wine ages in the bottle for a few months.
