After years of incessant experimentation, they have identified the best quality potential of the grapes in the “asinone” vineyard. the noble “asinone” represents the most complete synthesis between tradition, territory and enological innovation. obtained from sangiovese grapes, it expresses a recognizable style and a defined character. tuscany in a glass. the over 40-year-old vineyard is located in a clayey soil with a high concentration of magnesium and potassium which gives the wine great depth and complexity. the clusters are minute, with small thick-skinned berries, making the wine great muscularity and fullness. the grapes harvested with extreme punctuality in the phenolic ripeness peak allows the maximum aromatic yield. after the manual harvest, there is a second manual selection in the cellar where only the best bunches are selected. best vintages 100% sangiovese. other vintages about 10% of colorino and canaiolo. aging 16-18 months in french oak tonneaux.
